Jinjin whose real name is Park Jin-Woo, is a well-known figure in the South Korean entertainment industry. He gained popularity as a rapper, songwriter, model, and actor. Many people widely recognize Jinjin as the leader and main rapper of the boy group Astro. Not only that, but he was also part of the duo Jinjin & Rocky. Furthermore, Jinjin displayed his versatility by working as a host for the DIVE Studios podcast Unboxing, where he collaborated with Kino from the group Pentagon.
Jinjin began his educational journey at Hansu Elementary School, where he received his basic education. Later on, he joined Fantagio as a trainee and further honed his skills. To enhance his dance abilities, Jinjin enrolled himself at NY Dance Academy in Ilsan, where he actively participated in various competitions. Seeking a more comprehensive artistic education, he transferred to Hanlim Multi Art High School, where he specialized in practical dance and successfully graduated. After completing his dance training, Park Jinjin rejoined Fantagio as a trainee and dedicated three years to further developing his talents. In addition to his training, Jinjin has had the opportunity to showcase his talent on KBS through appearances on popular shows such as ”Hallyu Star” and ”Gangnam Style: Trainee Interview.” During these shows, he joins fellow Astro members Cha Eun Woo, Moonbin, and Rocky for interviews and performances, further solidifying his presence in the entertainment industry.

In 2016, the individual departed from Fantagio and became a p[art of Astro Group. Additionally, during this time, he appeared in the web drama titled ”To Be Continued” alongside his fellow group members. Before joining the group, he and his fellow members released their initial EP called “Spring Up.” which featured tracks including “Hide & Seek.” In the same year, Jin-Woo also took part in the performance stages of Eric Nam’s song “Can’t Help Myself.” He was also selected to be a cast member of tvN Asia’s “Wok the World” in Hongkong two years later. In the year 2019, Jinjin, along with the other members of Astro, took part in the composition and release of their debut full album titled “All Light.”
During that same year, at Astro’s second concert, Park showcased his self-composed song called “Mad Max.” Furthermore, he has made appearances on various shows such as “Go Together” and Travel Alone” for Celuv TV. Additionally, Park actively participated in composing one of the side tracks titled “Lights On” for Astro’s seventh EP, “Gateway.” In recent news, Fantagio announced that Park and his bandmate Rocky will be forming Astro’s second sub-unit known as Jinji & Rocky. In the same year they will release their first extended play called ” Restore,” and Park will be credited for composing, writing lyrics, and arranging the single “Villain” for TRENDZ’s debut mini-album
