Vargas played for the Turkish volleyball team Fenerbahçe for five seasons before obtaining Turkish citizenship in 2021 and being qualified to represent Turkey in international competition in 2023. She made her team debut in the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League, participating in 11 games and helping the squad win a gold medal. She won the competition’s MVP award. Vargas won gold with Turkey at the 2023 Women’s European Volleyball Championship, earning her another MVP award.
