Melissa Vargas is a Turkish volleyball player who was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, on October 16, 1999. She plays for Tianjin Bohai Bank and the Turkish women’s national team.

 Vargas competed at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in Italy as a member of the Cuban women’s national volleyball team. She has been a member of the Turkish women’s national volleyball team since 2023.

Vargas played for the Turkish volleyball team Fenerbahçe for five seasons before obtaining Turkish citizenship in 2021 and being qualified to represent Turkey in international competition in 2023. She made her team debut in the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League, participating in 11 games and helping the squad win a gold medal. She won the competition’s MVP award.
