She initially worked in broadcasting in San Francisco in 1997 as an entertainment reporter for KBWB/entertainment KNTV’s news segments after appearing as an extra in a couple of VH1 parodies in Hollywood. For four years, Sadler hosted “The Bay Beat,” a weekly lifestyle feature, and frequently visited New York and Los Angeles to conduct celebrity interviews.

In 2001, she relocated back to Indiana and joined WXIN once more to co-anchor the station’s morning program.
