Charles Swindoll is an Evangelical Christian pastor, author, teacher, and radio preacher  (Charles Rozell Swindoll),  born October 18, 1934, is a member of the Swindoll family. He established the Frisco, Texas-based organization Light for Living, which broadcasts the same radio show in 15 different languages on more than 2,000 stations all over the world.
