After graduating, he spent nearly two years reporting on prep sports as well as Oregon and Oregon State athletics for his local station in Eugene, KVAL. The two seasons he spent going to various stadiums on the west coast to cover Beaver football games on Saturdays are the best memory of his time in Oregon.

His most memorable work trips at WAFB included spending 13 days in Omaha, Nebraska covering the Tigers’ journey to the College World Series final, as well as spending 12 days in Oregon covering the NCAA Baseball Corvallis Regional and the final NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field.

Now that he is at WAVY, Craig is excited to enjoy everything the Hampton Roads area has to offer in terms of sports and lifestyle. He frequently goes to the gym in the mornings and sports events in the evenings. His favorite parts of his profession include starting a new article every day, covering sporting events, and sharing the tales of locals.

After his stint at KVAL, he moved to Los Angeles, where he converted his passion for health into a job. In the city where the movement for a healthy, active lifestyle was born, he worked full-time as a personal trainer and health coach.

He moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in September 2016 in order to pursue his passion to work in broadcasting once more. There, he spent a little over four years with WAFB-TV covering prep sports, Southern University, LSU, and the New Orleans Saints. His time in the Pelican state, where he was constantly surrounded by southern culture, is filled with good memories for him.
