Joseph Ward Simmons (born November 14, 1964) is an American rapper, producer, DJ, and television personality better known by his stage names Run, Rev. Run, and DJ Run. Simmons is a founding member of Run-DMC, a prominent hip-hop group. Reverend Run, as he is called, is also a practicing minister. In 2005, he rose to prominence thanks to his family’s MTV reality show, Run’s House.
