Josh Elliott is an American media personality/ journalist who is currently serving for CBS News. Eliott has before served as the news anchor for Good Morning America at ABC, sports anchor for Today and NBC Sports, and he was also a co-anchor for the live telecast of ESPN’s morning edition of SportsCenter.

Elliott joined GMA at ABC News team as a substitute anchor on ABC World News the weekend edition. Josh was joined by Lara Spencer. Elliot was also the host of Good Morning America which was an afternoon spin-off broadcast. Later Elliot signed a contract with NBC and left ABC News. He was immediately replaced by Amy Robach. Elliot was later on enrolled by CBS News to be the lead anchor for its digital news service CSBN. In addition, Elliott on 10th February 2017 announced that he was leaving CSBN. An executive told Josh that CBS was planning on placing him on a larger role as a field correspondent. CBS executives were caught unaware of this abrupt announcement and this made Elliott to be fired.
