Bishop Marvin Louis Sapp (born January 28, 1967) is an American gospel music singer-songwriter who rose to prominence in the 1990s as a member of the group Commissioned before embarking on a successful solo career. Sapp is also the founder and former senior pastor of Grand Rapids, Michigan’s Lighthouse Full Life Center Church. In 1995, he released Perfect Peace. He was installed as senior pastor of The Chosen Vessel in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 17, 2019.
