Gatto is the leader of the FOX 8 Defenders, which collaborates with the National Council of Jewish Women to report on the most important consumer-related issues in the neighborhood. Her research highlighted the appalling living conditions at an apartment building operated by a religious non-profit and assisted countless neighbors in resolving problems ranging from patchy garbage pickup to dilapidated pools.
