Neil Everett Biography

Neil Everett Morfitt is an American sportscaster for the ESPN network. He is the co-anchor of the West Coast edition of SportsCenter alongside Stan Everett, Previously, Everett served as anchor for KITV News.

Everett was born in Portland, Oregon, and raised in Spokane, Washington. He attended school at Lewis and Clark High School where he played football and basketball, was entitled to the all-city team in football at guard, and also played on the defensive line. After he graduated in 1980, Neil started his studies at Willamette University of Salem, then transferred to the University of Oregon’s Eugene where he went on to graduate with honors in 1984. In addition, He was also a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity at Willamette and proceeded with that membership in Oregon.

Neil started his journalism career at KCST-FM in Florence on the central Oregon Coast, west of Eugene.
