A well-known American television host and author, Pete Hegseth is presently a co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend on the Fox News Channel (FNC). In 2014, he started working as a contributor for Fox News. Pete has contributed analysis and commentary to all of the network’s daytime and evening programming while working there.

He has been the Special New Year coverage host for FNC for a few years now. He and his Fox & Friends Weekend co-hosts Rachel Campos-Duffy and Will Cain broadcast All American New Year life from the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee, to ring in 2022. Together with Lisa Kennedy Montgomery of FBN, Pete hosted the All-American New Year special on FNC in 2020.

Pete served as CEO of Concerned Veterans for America before joining FNC. Hegseth has previously served in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Guantanamo Bay as an infantry captain in the Army National Guard.
