This was after the two deputies had searched the area outside and not found the alleged prowler. They then proceeded into the residence and asked Massey for her identification card. When Grayson noticed a pot of boiling water on the stove, he told Massey to move it to avoid starting a fire, and the two deputies stepped back as they thought Massey wasn’t mentally stable. She asked them where they were going, and Grayson said they were moving away from the pot of boiling water and laughed.
