Melania Trump was the first naturalized citizen to become the first lady of the United States of America. The Slovenian-American model is the wife of Donald Trump and served as first lady of the US from 2017 to 2021. She is the second foreign-born first lady after Louisa Adams. She was ranked the worst of 40 assessed American first ladies in a study conducted by the Siena College Research Institute.

Melania Knavs was born on April 26, 1970, in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. She is 54 years old. Viktor Knavs, her father, was a chauffeur, while her mother was a patternmaker for Jutranjka in Sevnica.
