Mia McKenna-Bruce is an actress who is known for her roles in films such as “How To Have sex”, “Persuasion”, “The Dumping Ground” and “Tracy Beaker Returns”. “How To Have Sex” made her win the British independent award, the BAFTA Rising Star Award and get nomination for the European Film Best Actress Award. She has featured in several television programes such as Vampire Academy.

Mia became Penny Branning, the wheel chair-bound daughter to Jack Branning in “East Enders“, a BBC soap opera drama. In 2009 she starred in her debut film role as Ashley Tyler in “The Fourth Kind” before becoming Tee Taylor in “Tracy Beaker Returns” between 2010 and 2012 having auditioned for the role in 2009 when she was 11 years old. She reprised the Tee Taylor role in “The Dumping Ground” between 2013- 2016. In 2016 she guest starred as Asia Lucas in “Holby City” and in “Three`s Josh” of BBC. She was lead cast in The Rebels, a feature film. She won the BAFTA Rising Star Award in February 2024.
