Aside from artistic names, Peso Pluma is Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija. He is a Mexican singer who learned to play guitar early in his teens. In April 2023, he made history with “Ella Baila Sola,” the first Mexican song to hit the top 10 of the Hot 100 Billboard. The song’s growth boosted his popularity, making him the Mexican singer with the most entries in the US by April 29, 2023. The end of 2023 came with the song being the most streamed worldwide. The third album he made, “Genesis,” won him the Grammy Award for Best Musica Mexicana Album.
